SatCoast was the Winning Entry of the

Hello, this is SATCOAST written and developed by James Pearson.
SATCOAST is about using satellite technology to enable all of us all to see how Coastal areas are changing.
I’ve used images from the Sentinel-2 satellite to show how the coast is changing. I hope these help people better understand the Coast when they visit, and also how the wildlife and environment might change between seasons and also over many years.
Tracking changes over time is very important as the climate changes, we think the sea level might rise as well as temperature and rainfall patterns. Satellites can show changes on the ground happen over long periods of time. They also help people understand whether they are at a risk of flood or if the environment is endangered.
